Common Questions

It's easy! Just click on "sell" and then click on “book your pickup here ” to login or register for a seller account. Click the "start selling" page and select your preferred service - Home/Office Pick Up or Drop Off. Alternatively, you can drop off items at our Studio 50, Playfair Road - Noel Building #07-03 - Singapore 367995 (Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6pm) at your convenience.

 

Fill up any box with items that meet RETYKLE ABC standards, include your name, email and booking reference in the bag for the pick up or drop off. Once we receive your items, we will take care of the rest. Sit back and earn commission via Retykle credit (pays 55% of selling price), Paypal transfer or bank transfer (pays 50% of selling price) each time one of your items sell. We pay 30% commission for toys.

 

If you are a retailer with excess inventory and would like to sell over 50 units with us, please contact us directly at  before making a booking. Please note that if you proceed with a normal booking without an agreement from us, your items will be subject to donation and you will need to cover any associated transportation costs.

We accept gently used, good as new and new with tags condition children’s clothing, shoes and accessories size newborn to 14 years old from brands on our accepted brand list. We now accept maternity wear for resale!

Please note that if 80% of your items from a pick up or drop off consists of unaccepted brands and/or does not meet our condition guidelines, your seller account will be reviewed for suspension. 

New with Tags: means that these items have been passed on without any wear whatsoever. They are in the same condition as when they were in their original store with tags.

Good as New: are items which show no visible signs of wear or use.

Gently Used: items are items with a minor flaw that has been detailed in the condition section of the product description. These are items that are too good to pass up despite their minor signs of wear. Gently Used items could show signs of minor fading, minor pilling, fabric wear etc.

For Singapore shoppers, shipping is FREE for purchases over SGD $50 or a flat rate of SGD $8 for purchases under SGD $50.  

For Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan, we offer a flat rate of SGD $20 (US $15)

For Hong Kong, Japan, China, Macao and Philippines orders, we offer a flat rate of SGD $30 (US $25). 

For US orders, we offer a flat rate of SGD $45 (US $35). 

For Australia orders, we offer a flat rate of SGD $50 (US $38). 

For other international orders, we offer a flat rate of global shipping for SGD $60 (US $45).

The average cost of raising a child in SG is $0.95M (with clothing accounting for approximately $0.2M of this spend). Consuming new is not only expensive but it's hard on the environment. Resale saves time, money and the planet. Retykle takes away any uncertainty you may have about buying secondhand as the quality, condition and authenticity are all checked and guaranteed.

Reusable E-commerce Packaging

E-commerce in Singapore is booming, with over 200,000 e-commerce parcels delivered daily in the country. With e-commerce, additional packaging is required to transport your goods. It is estimated that 45% of carbon impact in e-commerce comes from packaging. With the growth in e-commerce in our small island, it is important to explore alternatives to more sustainable packaging systems such as reusable packaging.

To show the scalability of reusable packaging in Singapore, we are partnering WWF-Singapore in this pilot program by delivering your purchases in reusable packaging. Every time you return reusable packaging, you are avoiding the use of new resources for the manufacturing of single-use packaging. For every kilogram of virgin plastic that you avoid, you prevent 2 kilograms of carbon dioxide from being emitted. That is equivalent to what one tree will absorb in a month!

To make sure reusable packaging works, it is important that customers return them so that they can continue to be circulated. We hope you will support us in doing your part in making this new system work.

When you shop at our web store, opt-in for the option for reusable packaging.

Do note that in some items or order may not fit our current reusable packaging. In such instance, your order will not be delivered in reusable packaging even if you have opted in for them.

Reusable packaging is only available to orders that are being shipped within Singaopore.

When you receive your order, start by removing the shipping label. Next, open the packaging by tearing open the velcro strip. As the packaging is meant to be reused, do not use scissors to cut or open your parcel.

Option 1: Mail it back to us for free
(a) Look for the return sticker label that is enclosed in your reusable packaging.
(b) Fold the reusable packaging to envelop size and stick the sticker label as follows:

(c) Drop it off at your nearest P.O. box (https://www.singpost.com/locate-us), and off it goes!

Option 2:
You can also return the reusable e-commerce packaging at RETYKLE's Noel Building Studio and get an extra 25 Tyke Points (2.5SGD)!

Once we receive your reusable packaging that is in good condition,

- You will receive 25 Tyke Points as a thank you for saving the environment when you drop off your items at our
 Noel Building Studio . Check out our reward program here.


Incentive is only valid if you return the packaging within 1 month from the date of parcel delivery

Wears on the reusable packaging is a good indication that it has gone through multiple deliveries - this is what we aim for! Damaged packagings that are torn or not fit for use will be eliminated from the system to ensure that your products are delivered securely to you.

Selling

Cash Commission - 50% Commission

Once we account for our 14-day customer refund waiting period, the payment status for your sold item will update from “pending” to “owing” on the Get Paid page here. For all “owing” items, you can choose to cash out instantly by bank transfer or Paynow.

Alternatively, you can make a request for a direct transfer on the Get Paid page here and we will automatically transfer your “owing” amounts to your account on the first week of each month.

If you would like to donate your earnings to one of our charity partners here , you can update your preferred charity on your Profile page here. We make accrued annual donations to our charity partners.

Store Credit Commission (Tyke Points) - 55% Commission

Once we account for our 14-day customer refund waiting period, the payment status for your sold item will update from “pending” to “owing” on the Get Paid page here. For all “owing” items, you can choose to convert your earnings for points instantly to your linked customer account on the same page. If you do not click transfer, we will automatically deposit the “owing” balance into your account in the first week of each month. 

We accept children's and maternity clothing, accessories (excluding undergarments such as tights and underwear) and shoe size newborn to age 14. This will be revised in future to include expanded categories so please check back often. 

 

All items must comply with our ABC Standards and Accepted Brand List to be approved for listing. There are no restrictions on seasonality but keep in mind that seasonal clothes sell better within their corresponding season. Please note that if 80% of your items from a pick up or drop off consists of unaccepted brands and/or does not meet our condition guidelines, your seller account will be reviewed for suspension.

Just make sure all items are freshly washed and meet our ABC standards and are included on our accepted brand list and then fold and load them into any box with your name & email. We request a minimum of 5 items for our free home pick up service but for drop offs at our studio, there is no minimum requirement. We always suggest sending multiple items at a time to save time on multiple submissions in future and to increase your overall earnings potential. There is no maximum amount of items you can send at one time.

We are always happy to review new brands which we may have overlooked. We just ask that you send us an email in advance of sending your items so that we can review for preliminary email acceptance (items still need to be inspected for quality and condition upon receipt). Can I schedule a drop off rather than scheduling a pick up?

Yes! Please login or register for a seller account here and click the "Start Selling" page to schedule a drop off at our Singapore Studio. 

Yes! You can send your items via post to us. Our address is 50, Playfair Road - Noel Building #07-03 - Singapore 367995. Make sure to let us know that you have sent us some items including the tracking details to hellosg@retykle.com.

Returns need to be processed separately with an authorization and cannot be included with your seller bag contents.

Yes, we have international sellers, but unfortunately, we cannot cover the shipping fees at this time. If you would like to sell with us, please see our accepted brands list here and email us at hellosg@retykle.com for further steps.

You will receive an email as soon as your items have been received and sorted. Your unaccepted items (if there are any) will be detailed in an email to you. Accepted items will be posted on the site within approximately 15 business days of receipt.

Your unaccepted items will be detailed in an email along with your accepted items. If you would like your unaccepted items to be returned to you, please click ‘yes’ to Return Insurance when you book your pick up. Return insurance applies to the return of unaccepted items at the time we finish processing your items from the pick-up/drop-off you select the insurance for and items will be returned to you when the Your Little Shop email is sent. 

 

If you have chosen to pick up your unaccepted items at our office, you will have 7 days to make a request from the date of the Your Little Shop email sent. If we don't hear back within 7 days from the email sent, we will donate your unaccepted items to a charity partner on your behalf. If you accept to donate all unaccepted items to charity, thank you on behalf of the children who will benefit via our charity partners. The unaccepted items are final and cannot be turned into listings but we welcome your feedback at any time hellosg@retykle.com.

All items received will have a minimum listing period of 6 months. For the return of any unsold items before the 6 month listing period has passed, we will charge a delisting fee of $5/item to return any requested items.

If any items remain unsold after 6 months, you will have an additional 3 months to reclaim it without a delisting fee, and the return shipping fee will be paid by the seller upon arrival. Any delisted items will require shipping rather than pick up. 

At any later date, the items will no longer be retrievable by request and Retykle can delist and donate items at their discretion. Throughout the online listing period, which may be longer than 9 months, once any item sells successfully, you will earn commission.


Return insurance (SGD $10) applies to the return of unaccepted items at the time we finish processing your items from the pick-up/drop-off you select the insurance for and items will be returned to you when the Your Little Shop email is sent. 

No, you will not receive commission from the sale if the item is returned to us. If an item is returned to us and restocked, you will receive commission on the item upon a successful sale.

Your item will be re-listed but you will only receive commission once from the original sale.


Resale prices are assigned based on research, industry insights, original retail price, condition, age, brand desirability and style desirability. As a general rule, the newer the item (with original tags garners the highest return) and the higher the original retail value, the higher the listing price. The retail prices set (including markdown prices) are non-negotiable. Please note that items can be marked down anytime for sale promotions at Retykle's discretion to help increase the chances of them selling. For markdowns, sellers will receive the same commission rate on the markdown price.

Yes, as long as all brand and care labels are still intact and legible.

Yes. A promotion code is viewed as equivalent to a markdown. It's a vehicle to help you sell your goods. Both Retykle and seller take a lower earning when a promotion code is applied to a transaction.

You can click on the social share icons in the product detail of your item to promote your items directly via your social media accounts. You will increase the visibility and sales potential for your items.

For Singapore orders, deliveries will arrive at your door within 2-5 working days of placing your order. For international orders, deliveries will arrive at your door in 7-14 days from the date of placing your order.

For local Singapore shipments, we primarily use Singapore Post, Ninjavan or EasyParcel.

For international shipments, we use a variety of carriers with tracking.

Yes we offer physical gift cards (in SGD $50, $100, $200, $500 and $1000 denominations) which can be purchased here as well as e-gift cards in any denomination you choose. 

Shopping & Returns

Yes! If an item doesn’t fit or isn't as you expected, please complete the steps as stated in our return policy here. Upon a successful return, we will refund the items in full via store credit. If you've missed the return period, we cannot process a refund, but we would be happy to inspect it for resale.

Please note that Tyke Points accrued for items that have been returned and refunded will be deducted from your account. For example, if you return an item for a value of SGD $50, your total accrued amount of points will be reduced by 50 points. 

Absolutely. Each item that is posted has gone through rigorous inspection for quality and authenticity. We stand behind our listings so if you receive an item that you don't feel matched the quality promised or you question the authenticity, we will take the item back with free return shipping. Any seller who attempts to submit counterfeits to Retykle will have their accounts banned immediately.

This can be a big challenge for parents, as the sizing can seem drastically different from one brand to another. We list the manufacturer’s sizing. If you're unsure about how a particular brand fits and have questions, email us at hellosg@retykle.com. We can arrange to send you exact measurements if requested.
